As we all know, it is thinner, larger, and lighter, what’s more, it redesigned iPhone 5 on both appearance and function. I must say it is more advanced and better handled than some smart phone. But do you think it could sell good as before in China? I don’t think so.
Last year, iPhone 4 and 4s are all bestsellers which many Chinese people enjoy buying one as their best mobile phone. So you will find in the public areas most of people would hold one. And this is no exaggeration in my opinion. But now iPhone 5 has not sold in Chinese mainland. That‘s not helpful to capture Chinese market. However, in Hong Kong, it is permitted to released to sell iPhone 5 , compared with previous, we can see it does not have the best effect. People have got tired of it, haven’t they?
I think there are some reasons more important. The first reason is the above-mentioned. Apple Inc has not released iPhone 5 in China at the same time. So other company would capture the market. Other brands would seize the opportunity to design some smart phone to substitute iPhone.
The second reason is that the price. The price is more expensive than many brands. As we all know, it china the price of iPhone 5 is about $500 to $700. And the iPhone 5 must be higher than the old version. So many people don’t want to spend so much money on the same brand. They are more wiling to keep using iPhone 4 or 4s, of course to purchase another brand.
The third reason is its inherent problem. It has not the absolute advantage in the market. On the appearance, iPhone 5 is not large enough which it has a 4.0 inch screen. But SANSUNG relatively has a greater advantage. This point is undeniable thing. However things are not always perfect, maybe looking forward its improved next time. And the other shortcoming, for using ios 6 and 4G LTE, for some people they can experience a feeling of flying. If you want to have a faster web browsing speed, it’s perfect. But in some regions there is no 4G communication technology. Such as in China, so this point we feel it is a shame.
Of course, it is only my opinion. After all it is not a fact, as we must wait for the released day. Maybe we need some patience to know the final result.
